Our Story
Norstol started with a simple idea: to create a modern, fully adaptable high chair that grows with the child. Norstol was founded by parents, Matej and Maruša, who struggled to find a high chair that was both modern and fully adjustable.
Inspired by Slovenia’s rich woodworking heritage, they set out to design a high chair that was durable, adjustable, and made of solid wood (with metal reinforcements). What began as a passion project has grown into a trusted brand, helping families make more conscious choices while providing children with a safe and comfortable seat at every stage of development.

Sustainability at Our Core
Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us – it’s built into everything we do. We carefully source our wood from local Slovenian forests, ensuring responsible forestry practices that protect nature for future generations. Every chair is crafted in the EU under fair working conditions, and for each one sold, we plant a tree to give back to the environment. Our commitment to durability also means less waste – Norstol high chairs are designed to last for years, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Built to Last
Norstol high chairs aren’t just furniture—they’re an investment in quality, safety, and sustainability. Rigorously tested to meet the highest European safety standards, they provide a secure and comfortable seat for little ones, from their first meals to their school years. With a 5-year warranty and replaceable parts, we make sure that every Norstol high chair stays in use for as long as possible.

Our Mission
We’re here to change the way families think about children’s furniture—moving away from throwaway culture and toward durable, responsible design. By choosing Norstol, you’re not just getting a high chair. You’re choosing a product that grows with your child, respects the planet, and supports ethical craftsmanship.
